2. Personalized products – exception to the right of return

The products sold on Brodara.ro are made to order and/or personalized (e.g.: embroidery with names, initials, texts, chosen colors, personalized designs, logos, etc.).

According to Romanian legislation, namely OUG no. 34/2014, art. 16 lit. c, the right of withdrawal (return within 14 days) does not apply to:

“supply of products made to the specifications presented by the consumer or clearly personalized”.

Therefore, personalized products cannot be returned, as they are made exclusively based on the customer’s requirements and cannot be resold.

3. Situations in which we accept repair / replacement

Even though personalized products are exempt from returns, we assume quality and intervene quickly in the following situations:

3.1 Defective or damaged product upon delivery

If the product arrives to you damaged (broken, stained, visible defect), please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.

📌 Send us:

  • order number
  • clear photos of the product
  • photos of the packaging (if damaged)

Depending on the situation, we will proposes:

  • reproduction of the product
  • repair of the product (if possible)
  • refund of the value (only if a practical solution cannot be found)

3.2 Wrongly delivered product

If you received a different product than the one ordered, we will correct the situation as quickly as possible, bearing the related costs.

3.3 Personalization error due to our fault

If the customization delivered is different from what you confirmed in the order and the error belongs to Brodara.ro, we will fix the order.

⚠️ Important: if the text / customization details were entered incorrectly by the customer (e.g. misspelled name), we cannot accept returns or free re-orders.

4. Non-personalized products (if any)

If non-personalized products are available on Brodara.ro, they can be returned within 14 calendar days, according to OUG 34/2014, with the following conditions:

  • the product must be unused
  • the product must be in perfect condition
  • the original packaging must be intact (if applicable)

The shipping costs for the return are borne by the customer, except in cases where the product is incorrectly delivered or defective.

5. Request procedure

For any request (complaint / remedy), you can contact us at:

Please include:

  • full name
  • order number
  • description of the problem
  • relevant pictures (if applicable)

6. Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • this will be made within a maximum of 14 calendar days
  • the refund is made by the same payment method or by bank transfer (as applicable)
